Perfect for kids! My son is 9, and he had a great time playing and touching all the displays! This museum is so much better than the one in Rome. Plus, order on their official website to get 50% off on the tickets!

It is not too big, so doable with kids before they get too overwhelmed or loose interest. Models need to be handled with care but it is really interesting even for an adult to see the drawings turned into real, moving objects. I never realized Leonardo designed so many military machinery for example. There is a small section with some of his most famous paintings but it is the least interesting part. Generally worth the visit and especially worth getting a discounted ticket online.

SO fun, and utterly amazing. I was in awe of Da Vinci's genius before, but I had no idea they scope of his creative inventiveness. Nor did I know that most of his designs were never created, because the technology to do so hadn't yet been invented. Great for kids and adults!

So interactive, visual and educational. I love that it shows more of his engineering and academic side rather than just his art (Which is amazing to). Great activity to do with children also. The fee is reasonable and the staff are friendly. We just turned up without prior booking and there was no problem.

This was the only interactive museum I've ever seen. It was fantastic getting to see the machines created by Leonardo DaVinci and actually getting to play with them! I had no idea just how many modern machines are based on his original designs. Very affordable entry tickets with no line to speak of. A great educational experience for kids as well!
