We went inside for a shelter from rain and what a place it is. Starting from old Macs, through 1:1 racing cars, trains, a pirate ship, submarine, fighter jets. This place offers hours of fun for the price. Recommend for everyone, who are interested in science or any kind of transportation.

The Leonardo da Vinci Museum of Science and Technology in Milan is one of the museums in the city, and it is absolutely worth allocating a few hours for a visit. The museum is much larger than it appears from the outside, and it covers a wide range of subjects connected to Leonardo’s work and to the broader history of science, engineering, and innovation. The sections dedicated to Leonardo are particularly interesting. They present detailed models of his machines, clear explanations of his ideas, and well-curated displays that show how his concepts related to the scientific knowledge of his time. The museum succeeds in connecting Leonardo’s theoretical drawings to modern engineering in a way that is accessible and engaging. Beyond the Leonardo galleries, the museum includes extensive exhibits on transportation, energy, physics, communication, and industrial technologies. The collections of trains, ships, aircraft, and early industrial machines are impressive in scale and give a strong sense of Italy’s scientific and industrial heritage. Some areas feel more modern than others, but overall the museum offers a very rich and informative experience. The layout can be a bit confusing, and it is easy to lose track of time because there is so much to see, so planning ahead is advisable. Buying tickets online is recommended to avoid queues, especially on weekends or holidays. In summary, the museum is a must-visit for families with kids and anyone interested in Leonardo da Vinci, science, or engineering. It is educational, wide ranging, and thoughtfully curated.

Truly amazing museum that I wholeheartedly recommend. There are so many things to see and so many different themes — something interesting for both adults and kids. You’ll need about 1.5–2 hours to see it, depending on your interest and time; even more if you read everything thoroughly. The prices are more than affordable for what you get, and if you’re under 26 the ticket is only €7.50. Highly recommended! ☺️

The Milan Leonarda Da Vinci Science museum definitely has some really cool exhibits, but overall I was kind of disappointed. A lot of things just didn't work, some parts of the exhibit were closed off, and considering it cost 10 euros for general entry plus another 10 for the submarine, it didn't really feel worth it. Also, there were a lot of kids running around going kind of wild, which really took away from the experience. It might be a good idea for the museum to have some age limits in certain areas. And on top of that, about a third (or at least it felt like half) of the descriptions were only in Italian, including the submarine tour. I only got a bit of English because I tipped a really nice guide 5 euros to help me out. In short, for what was promised, I was let down. The exhibits are cool, but the value for money just isn’t there and I wouldn’t really recommend it or go again.

A must see for all the science and Leonardo enthusiasts. We spend 3 hours on a weekday morning, we could have easily spent the entire day if we had time. Easily connected by metro, we did not have to wait in queue for getting the ticket on site. We breezed through 3 floors and few annexes but spent most of the time in Leonardo innovation galleries, space and aircraft. The museum shop is small but one of the better ones in terms of collection and price. We actually collected most of our Milan souvenirs from here. The art books collection is good as well and few of them we got in good price.
