This is a little gem hidden in the centre of Milan. As you go from the Duomo entrance through Victorio Emanuelle gallery, all the way to the end, the entrance is on the left. Inside is quite small but packed with all Leonardo’s inventions. Based an his drawing and his explanations they built and created this little heaven for the science minds. It is quite interactive with things for kids to do, build bridges, pedal a boat through a canal via VR and an explanation and projection of the Last Supper. The staff was nice, the shop is small but enough for everyone to find something, toilets were clean and on site. Although the written information is in Italian, there are audio guides available and the touch screens are also in English. A very good experience, great location and definitely worth a visit

Wow! If anyone is interested in science, mechanics, or has a vivid imagination, this is the place for you! Leonardo had such an amazing mind. So many creative ideas to problems they were facing at the time. Plan on spending at least an hour, preferably two. Definitely recommend.

Very interesting museum that focused on Da Vinci’s myriad inventions instead of his art. All displays were captioned in English & many were interactive. We had some difficulty finding the building at first because it is kind of tucked away but it is very close to il Duomo & was the perfect place to spend an hour or so while waiting for our tour.

We found it by chance and bought the ticket at the door, I am so glad we did. How wonderful! I loved the interactive screens on it. I could have spent the whole day here. I highly recommend. The other museums should follow this technology so we could se how it was then. Stunning!

The museum is a little gem in the city center. The entrance is at the end of a gallery, a little hidden by the imposing staircase. There is usually someone outside to greet you and give you more details. My recommendation is definitely an audio guide. It doesn't cost much (5 euros), but you get a lot of information and it saves you from reading the panels next to each exhibit. I allocated 2 hours as time, but unfortunately I only managed 60% of what I set out to do. If you are interested in what DaVinci's works mean, you need to allocate at least 3-4 hours. Once you enter, prepare to admire and listen to masterpieces, inventions and ideas that will amaze you, even after so many hundreds of years. For children it is also interesting and captivating. But here too it depends on the children. Mine were pleasantly impressed and we will definitely come back. The museum is not very big, it has about 3-4 rooms where replicas, pictures and multimedia areas are exhibited. Overall, a small museum for a great genius, a small and elegant space for a multitude of ideas and inventions.
